SUMER Sp. z o.o. is a Polish manufacturer of rehabilitation equipment based in Opole. Since 1994 we have designed and built rehabilitation tables, manual therapy tables, massage and verticalisation tables, and other devices used in clinics, medical facilities and rehabilitation centres.

Our story did not begin with a catalogue or with importing ready-made solutions. It began with engineering, technique and a real need to create equipment that is durable, functional and comfortable in everyday work with the patient.

The company was founded by Piotr Dudar — a graduate of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, biomedical engineering, specialising in the design of electromedical apparatus. Already during his studies he worked on designing rehabilitation equipment, and his diploma thesis was a rehabilitation table that earned very good reviews from physicians at orthopaedic wards in Opole. SUMER was founded in 1994, while he was still in his fifth year of studies.

The name SUMER is an acronym of the Polish words Sprzęt, Urządzenia Medyczno-Rehabilitacyjne (Medical and Rehabilitation Equipment and Devices). From the very beginning one thing mattered most to us: to create equipment that answers the real needs of therapists and patients.

In our products we combine manufacturing experience, technical knowledge and many years of service practice. Thanks to this we know which solutions prove themselves over years of intensive use, and which only look good in a photo. When designing tables, we focus not only on appearance, but above all on stability, safety, the ergonomics of the therapist's work, patient comfort and ease of servicing.

We manufacture in Poland. Many components are made to order, which allows us to tailor the equipment to a specific clinic, type of therapy, the therapist's height, the patient's needs or working conditions. We are not merely a seller — we are a manufacturer responsible for its product from design, through production, to service.

Over more than 30 years our tables have reached physiotherapy clinics, hospitals, outpatient centres, rehabilitation facilities, sports clubs and private homes. Many customers return to us after years — for another table, an inspection, a reupholstery or an individual solution tailored to their work.
